I'm guessing that most of you, like me, are getting your final thoughts together for Thanksgiving. I have my to-do list scribbled down and I still need to make a trip to the grocery store. After that the only thing left is the cooking. Yay! We aren't actully eating at our house this year; we'll be at my parents' house. I did want to use these pumpkins one more time before they were done for, so I set a quick table. Here's how it turned out.
I used only things I could put my hands on around our house. The white platter I picked up at a thrift store a few weekends back was on display in my dining room cabinet. I grabbed it first and arranged the pumpkins to see how they would fill it up.
Last year my daddy gave me some of the many antlers he has to use on my fall table in the breakfast room. It took me a minute to recall where I put them, but once I found them, I just tucked a few under the pumpkins.
Finally, I made a trip to my yard and clipped some greenery. I wish I knew what the sprigs were, but I don't. Some of you probably do. (I'd love for you to tell me in the comments if so.)
I hope you all have a wonderful time with family and friends as we welcome the holiday season on Thursday. And once again, I'm very thankful for all of your kindness and support of Woodbank Lane over the past few years. I've loved sharing a little of my life and home with you all and meeting some wonderful fellow bloggers who are now friends. Y'all really are the best.
Happy Thanksgiving...
