MY SIMPLE THANKSGIVING CENTERPIECE

I'm calling this a bonus post because it really wasn't on the schedule. But we ended up swapping our Thanksgiving lunch to our house from my parents' house. So, of course my wheels immediately starting turning. What could I do on the table?

Then I remembered a center piece I had seen earlier in the week using tall candles and brass candle sticks and went to work. The best part: I had everything already. The pumpkins were left over from my fall decorating around the house, I always keep a bucket of pinecones picked up, and the mandarin oranges I've had for some time. (Yes, they are faux.) The greenery came from my yard, and I sprinkled in the acorns that were also from our yard. See where I used them first in this post. I also already had  short white candles and picked up a few tall ones at Hobby Lobby the morning I started making the tray.

Now, how did I put it all together? So simple!

candles...

pumpkins...

mandarins...

pinecones...

acorns...

greenery...

and voila!

Now see what you can gather up, and gussy up your table, too.

Happy, happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Thanks for being here. See you next week.
