FRIDAY'S FIVE

It's the last Friday of January. Are you ready for February? I am loving the cooler weather that finally arrived! And even though I always welcome the spring months, this year I'm savoring the cold. I'm no where close to being ready for the southern summer heat.

Friday's Five

Here are five links for you to check out as you get ready to enjoy the weekend!

1. A must-see renovation in a Nashville home chock full of bold color, patterns, and unbelievable before and after photos.

2. A stunning Instagram account you'll want to follow if you love traditional decorating.

3. Have you bought any furniture online yet? There are soooo many options out there. This article may help us narrow them down. This chair is from Amazon

4. I'm loving following Chris and Julia as they remodel their new home in North Carolina. Their blog is ChrislovesJulia and it's a favorite.

5. I've been using these under eye patches that my friend Meg told me about. I think they are working. :-)

Have a great weekeend! Thanks for stopping by.

FRIDAY'S FIVE

November is flying by for me. I cannot believe Thanksgiving is next week! I am excited to say that I've made a pretty good dent in my Christmas shopping already, and that's a small victory for this procrastinator. :-) Have you guys started?

Here is my first Friday's Five since returning to blogging. This post is usually just five random people or things I've crossed paths with that I think you might want to check out, too. Have a great weekend!

ONE -  I've been following Sherry Hart on Instagram, but I had never stopped by her blog Design Indulgence. I did this week, and it's so good! Not only is she a fun and super-talented designer, she also has a fabulous sense of style. Her OOTDs are always on point (Outfit of the Day)! I take lots of screen shots of what she wears and look my closet over to see if I can reproduce her looks for myself.

TWO - Carmel over at Our Fifth House created the most magnificent moody library for this year's One Room Challenge. She also did a porch off the library. You must see it!

THREE - This fairly new Instagram account is now one of my favorites. If you like traditional southern decorating, you'll want to follow Kelly at Southern_Home_Cottage. So. Much. Inspiration.

FOUR - I watched the Netflix series Maid over the past few weeks. It was hard to watch, but I feel like I gained valuable insight into the plight of abused women. It was eye-opening. The main character is Andy MacDowell's daughter, and I thought she did a great job in the role. It was definitely one of those shows that sticks with you for a while, and shifts your perspective.

FIVE -  Finally, this song has been on repeat for me lately.

ONE

Probably the prettiest laundry room I've ever seen from Gwen, The Makerista. This is such a great before and after.

TWO

The portfolio of designers Huff-Dewberry in Atlanta, Georgia, lots of gorgeous inspiration.

THREE

A One Room Challenge reveal for all the color lovers out there from Jennifer at Dimples and Tangles.

FOUR

Summer recipe suggestions from Southern Living.

Did you know Amazon had an overstock outlet? Neither did I!! How cute are these placemats? $5.33 for four. :-)

Hope you enjoyed the five links....
